What is Everwell?
Everwell gives you your own your private TV network the way you want it. We provide everything you need to entertain and inform your viewers (customers, patients, employees, etc.) about health topics and promote your products, services or other important messages.
How is Everwell different from other similar services?
There’s nothing quite like Everwell. A few companies sell hardware for creating private networks but don’t offer content; others include simple PowerPoint-style content but no compelling video. We offer a complete package: the equipment you need, compelling content, and an easy way for you to create your own messages.
How much control will I have over what plays on my screen?
You have as much control as you want. You can even decide just to use your messages and no Everwell videos.
Who creates Everwell’s health and wellness video content?
Everwell’s health and wellness video segments are developed by highly experienced journalists and television production professionals who have spent decades at such leading media organizations as CNN, NBC News, WebMD and The Washington Post Company researching and creating health information for consumers. Everwell’s content is based on sound research and free of commercial or other influence.
Is advertising permitted on Everwell?
Everwell is commercial free, but you can promote whatever you’d like on your system.
What do I need in order to have Everwell?
All you need is a TV with an HDMI input, an Internet connection and an Everwell media player (small computer about the size of two decks of cards).
How much does Everwell cost?
The monthly subscription cost is similar to business cable TV plans, and the media player computer costs a couple hundred dollars. We offer volume discounts, so the exact price depends on the number of units. Contact us for a quote.
Does the Everwell system stream content and consume my office bandwidth?
No, our system uses “store and forward” technology. The media player downloads and stores the content locally, meaning it does not constantly stream or hog your network bandwidth throughout the day.
What happens if my clinic's internet connection goes down?
Because content is stored locally on the media player, your videos and slides will seamlessly continue to play. However, features such as weather forecasts will stop displaying if they cannot update after four hours.
How does the media player connect to the internet?
The media player can connect via a hardwired Ethernet cable (which we recommend) or your office Wi-Fi network.
Can I showcase my practice's social media and online reviews on the screen?
Yes! Our platform integrates directly with Facebook, Instagram, Google reviews, and Yelp reviews. You can easily filter reviews to ensure only the highest star ratings are displayed to your patients.
My marketing team uses Canva. Can we use that with Everwell?
Absolutely. We have a direct integration with Canva, allowing you to easily pull your designs right into our platform. Alternatively, you can use our built-in content creation and AI tools.
Do you offer Spanish-language content?
Yes, all of our health and wellness videos feature closed captioning in both English and Spanish. Captioning can easily be turned on or off by location.
What if I want to have multiple TVs in the same office?
You can connect one media player to multiple TVs using an HDMI splitter and cabling. This saves you from paying for multiple subscriptions if the screens are in the same physical space and playing the exact same content.
Can I manage screens across multiple clinic locations?
Yes, our web portal allows you to manage all of your screens remotely from anywhere. You can utilize “location targeting” to show specific content—such as a provider profile—only at the relevant clinic.
Is it possible to schedule content in advance for holidays or promotions?
Yes, our highly flexible scheduling tool allows you to schedule content by month, date, day of the week, or time of day. You can even schedule content to trigger based on specific weather conditions.
What is the Everwell Video on Demand (VOD) feature?
VOD turns your waiting room TV into a powerful presentation tool. Using the included remote, you can stop the scheduled content and call up a specific video to play, which is ideal for patient seminars or staff training.
Can I display emergency messages to patients and staff?
Yes, our emergency messaging feature acts like an emergency broadcast system. Using a simple template, you can instantly override current programming with urgent text and an optional siren noise to grab attention.
Can I change the screen layout?
Yes! Our free-form editor lets you carve the screen into multiple zones—for example, a main video area, a rotating side banner, and a weather ticker. You can also choose to have a single video take up the full screen.
Where is your customer support located?
We proudly offer entirely US-based customer support. You can reach our knowledgeable team via phone, email, or text message Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
Do you provide training for my staff?
Yes! Your subscription includes a live onboarding session via Zoom. Furthermore, as long as you are a subscriber, you can book unlimited one-on-one follow-up training sessions at no extra cost.
Does Everwell offer interactive touch-screen wallboards for exam rooms?
Unlike some digital signage providers that push digital wallboards, Everwell does not. Our research shows that patients and doctors rarely interact with wall-mounted touchscreens. Instead, we offer Everwell Edge, a patient education platform designed for providers to use collaboratively on their own tablets or laptops during consultations.
Can I add background music to my clinic with Everwell?
Yes, we offer a separate, fully licensed Music & Messaging service with over 200 commercial-free channels. As a value-add, our team will even record and insert up to three custom audio messages per month to play between songs.
Will you create graphics and promotional slides for me?
If you don’t have an in-house marketing team, you can opt for our Content Creation Assistance add-on. You simply send us your instructions and assets, and our team will custom-design your graphics-based promotional slides.
Is it possible to play my own promotional videos?
Yes, you can easily upload and play your own video content, such as clinic promotions, staff introductions, or videos provided by medical equipment manufacturers.
